20.11.2008THE NEW BUILDING OF BAKU COURT OF APPEAL WAS GIVEN TO USE
According to the tasks of Ilham Aliyev, the president of Azerbaijan Republic on improvement of court activities in the country, complex measures are implemented. The measures implemented in short period of time, termination of activities of the judges the activities of whom evaluated negative, increase of number of judges and associates of court apparatus, appointment of well trained 157 candidates to the position of judges by being selection, improvement of court infrastructure and other measures made positive effect to the productivity of fair trial. By taking into account the importance of organization of sitting halls of corts in accordance to the modern requirements in achieving high level fair trial and also in provision of comfort of participants of court process and the citizens, expedient measures were implemented and also new corpse of Baku Court of Appeal was constructed.
For the professional holiday day of the workers of Justice the opening ceremony of new three storey building consisting of 15 court halls was held. In the building constructed in accordance with the court activities the large sitting halls meeting modern requirements were provided with advanced electronic information technologies, the monitors were installed for process participants to get acquaintance with rights and duties, all conditions were created for the comfort of advocates and prosecutor and also the citizens.
Fikrat Mammadov, the minister of Justice and the chairman of the Court-Law Council stated the works on improvement of court activities in the meeting, stressed the importance of use of new building corpse of Baku Court of Appeal in implementation of fair trial and provision of comfort of the citizens and wished good luck for the court activities.
